About

I try my best to live a healthy life.

I try my best to make informed decisions about products and their companies when purchasing.

I try my best to explore new things.

I try my best to share the knowledge I have gained with those I love and care about.

I try my best to enjoy life while I'm doing the above.

Hence my life is all about living genuinely with a touch of me in there because I never do things quite like they're supposed to be.  I am what you would consider a Jack of all trades master of none.  I can do just a little of everything and I know a little bit about everything but I'm not really a pro at anything in particular.  I had this fantasy when I was a child that I would discover my hidden talent if I just kept attempting every realm of the arts.  So I've painted, colored, sketched, knitted, danced - ballet, swing, salsa and hip hop, skated, ran, dribbled, spiked, swam, biked, played - piano, clarinet, guitar, and tenor saxophone, baked, and unfortunately for most sang.  Through the pursuit of all of these things and never having my breakout moment I came to realize that this is my breakout.  I can dabble in all of these things with "some" grace and that's my talent.

I have started and stopped blogging a number of times over the years.

I couldn't decide:

Should it be a satire of workplace drama?

Should it be book reviews?

Should it be a teaching how-to?

Should it be an anonymous 'this is my life'?

Should it be a cooking montage?

After much reflection I decided my blog should be like my life - a little bit of everything.  I may not rake in the millions or become famous doing it because it's ALL over the board - but it will be genuine and it will be me:  all sides of me (except maybe the me that comes out in Vegas after a few rounds of shots because she tends to land herself in the urgent care and get into Hummer limos with 24 strangers).

If you find yourself browsing this blog unable to figure out where exactly I'm going...then you've arrived.
